At any point, write about how you feel while reading a section of the book. Say how what is happening makes you feel and why?

At page 19 to 20 in Act one, when the inspector Goole enters the mood of Mr. Birling is calm and he doesn’t think that he had done anything wrong or has to take some responisbility for something.
So he just listen to Mr. Goole what he wants to tell. Then the outcoming his that a girl has killed herself by drinking a lot of strong disinfectant, because she was in great agony. of course Mr. Birling and Eric are shocked but Mr. Birling is still confused and doesn’t know why the inspector needed to tell this story to the Birling family. What connection should be in between the suicide action and their life?

I like that scene of the book because it brings a changing and activity in the story. When i started to read the book i was a little bit bored and thought hopefully there is coming more suspense. So when i read this part i finally find a way into the plot. And when the inspector talked about how Eva Smith died, i felt a little bit sad and started to think about what a girl in reallife must went through to kill herself like that. Of course it’s just a story and not related to a real happening but anyway there a girls or general people who do that. And i thought about the pain which this action brings with it. And i tried to find out who of the family member could be the murderer or could have any connection to Eva Smith. (237 more or less)
